Privacy Policy

Your list stays yours.

Poofed is built to keep your data on your device and in your own iCloud. We don't run accounts, we don't track you, and we never sell your information.

Last updated: July 26, 2026

The short version

Information stored on your device and in iCloud

Everything you create in Poofed — tasks, ideas, notes, reminder times, and your preferences — is saved locally on your device. If you keep iCloud enabled, this content also syncs through Apple's iCloud so it stays current across your devices. That sync uses your personal iCloud account, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Ideas

Poofed lets you save things you're still deciding on, along with any notes you add to them. These undecided items are stored the same way as your tasks — on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, synced through your own iCloud account. We have no access to them, and they are never transmitted to us or to any third party.

Reminders and notifications

If you turn on reminders, notifications are scheduled and delivered locally by your device. We don't collect or receive information about your reminders.

Siri and Shortcuts

If you use Siri or the Shortcuts app to add a task or an idea to Poofed, your spoken or typed request is processed by Apple's speech recognition and Siri systems, which are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Poofed only receives the resulting text needed to add the item — we don't receive your voice recording or any other Siri data.

Purchases and subscriptions

Poofed Premium and any promotional offers are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple shares limited, non-identifying transaction information with us (for example, that a subscription started, renewed, or was refunded) so we can provide the service. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

Diagnostics and analytics

If you opt in to sharing analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized usage and crash information through App Store Connect. This helps us find bugs and improve the app. It does not identify you and does not include the contents of your tasks or ideas. You can turn this off at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements on your device.

Children's privacy

Poofed is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app requires no account and collects no personal information, it can be used without providing any identifying details.
